Big Band Alumni Tuesday Morning Rehearsal and Swing Dance with Special Guest Lynn Keller Baygan

Tuesday morning the Big Band Alumni, 17-piece big band of Los Angeles, rehearses from 11am to 1pm at the Canoga Park Elks Lodge with vocalists Bill A. Jones and special guest Lynn Keller Baygan, a passionate big band vocalist, Lynn has performed with ensembles such as The Flight 584 Big Band conductor, John Mitchell, The Woody James Legacy Big Band, and Pat Longo’s Hollywood Big Band. Her father, Art Depew, the legendary trumpet player and conductor of the Harry James Orchestra, introduced her to big band music — a love that has only grown stronger. Together, Lynn and her father recorded Notes From My Father (2015,) a heartfelt collaboration of big band and small combo arrangements. In 2025, Lynn completed a new album, My Man’s An Undertaker (2025.) It’s playful a nod to the darker side of the jazz club. Lynn now carries forward her music legacy with joy and dedication.”

Join us in Hollywood, CA at the Historic American Legion Post 43 for another fun afternoon of big band music and swing dancing from 2-4pm in the Cabaret Room. Free parking. Entry $20. Music by the 17-piece Big Band Alumni musicians and vocalist Bill A. Jones and guest vocalist Pamela Clay.

Join us Sunday, April 12th at the Historic American Legion Post 43 in Hollywood for music by the 17-piece Big Band Alumni with vocalists Bill A. Jones and guest vocalist Pamela Clay. The Big Band Alumni have been in existence for over 25 years. The fun begins at 2pm and goes until 4pm. Free parking. Live music and dancing. Entry $20. Come on down.

Big Band Alumni of Los Angeles will be at the American Legion Post 43 for an afternoon of music and swing dancing, Sunday April 12, 2026

Join us at the Historic Hollywood American Legion Post 43 for music by the 17-piece Big Band Alumni musicians plus vocalists Bill A. Jones and special guest Pamela Clay, Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 2-4 pm. Entry $20, no charge for Post 43 members. Swing dance in the Cabaret Room of this Historic Cultural Monument built in 1929. Step back in time for an afternoon of live big band music and dancing. We hope to see YOU there!

** Please note, free parking for this event will be across the street in the Heritage Lot. The Legion will be using their on-site lot in preparation for another event. Special accomodations for handicap parking will be made by notifiying us in advance.
