happens once a month. This 17-piece big band has been in existence over 25 years and they rehearse weekly on Tuesday mornings. Bill A. Jones,

Big Band Alumni will be performing for the Preservation of Dixieland Jazz Event this weekend at the Arcadia Elks Lodge

The Society for the Preservation of Dixieland Jazz, Arcadia, CA is featuring the ๐๐ˆ๐† ๐๐€๐๐ƒ ๐€๐‹๐”๐Œ๐๐ˆ, ๐’๐ฎ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”. The Big Band Alumni will play from ๐Ÿฏ-๐Ÿฐ ๐—ฝ๐—บ at the Arcadia Elks Lodge. Local musicians play various sets between 1:00 and 3:00 pm; feature band plays an hour set, and local musicians again take the stage until 5:00 pm. If you are a musician bring your instrument, dancers bring your dancing shoes, music lovers bring your happy ears!!

It’s that time again and Tuesday morning is around the corner. Join us in Canoga Park for our weekly band rehearsal and swing dance. Entrance $15. Plenty of free parking. Food and snacks available for purchase. Drinks from the bar also available. It is a jolly good time.
