Big Band Alumni, a 17-piece big band plus vocalists Bill A. Jones and Nancy Osborne, rehearse in front of a live audience on Tuesday mornings in Canoga Park, CA. Join us from 11am to 1pm at the Canoga Park Elks Lodge #2190, 20925 Osborne St., Canoga Park, CA 91304. Plenty of room to dance. Tables and chairs to sit and enjoy snacks from the bar/kitchen. $15 entry and receive a $5 voucher good for use toward the purchase of food and/or drinks. Our Tuesday morning rehearsal dance on August 5th is cancelled as the Canoga Park Elks Lodge is rented out. Please join us next week on August 12, 2025 from 11am to 1pm for our weekly rehearsal dance good time.
Our Second Sunday of the month Big Band Series comes to the Historic Hollywood American Legion Post 43 on August 10, 2025. Join us downstairs in the Cabaret Room for an afternoon of Big Band Swing with music from the 40’s and 50’s. Vocalists Bill A. Jones and Nancy Osborne join the talent of the Big Band Alumni. Come to dance and/or relax and enjoy listening to the music. Show starts at 2 pm, $20 entry, free parking.
The Big Band Sunday Series happened this past weekend at the Historic American Legion Post 43 in Hollywood. Bill A. Jones and Nancy Osborne and the Big Band Alumni performed tunes from the 40’s and 50’s. Sunday Series Big Band afternoons are held in the historic Cabaret Room. It is a trip back in time. Nina Herzog, sang big band tunes with the Big Band Alumni musicians in Canoga Park at their Tuesday morning rehearsal earlier today. Big Band Alumni is a Los Angeles based big band who play events in the LA and Orange County area. They perform in front of a live audience on Tuesday mornings.
